AI Series · Self-Initiated · Lucha Libre · Vintage Print
A self-initiated AI series built on a single idea: don't generate photographs, generate the artefact. Every frame is treated as a scanned page torn out of a lucha libre magazine that has been folded, creased and sun-bleached for forty years.
The look runs on extreme wide-angle distortion — fists and boots thrown at the lens, bodies bowed by the barrel curve, the crowd wrapping the frame — paired with the blown, over-saturated colour of cheap four-colour printing. Paper texture, edge wear, scratches and dust are carried through as part of the image rather than added as a filter, so the decay sits under the ink instead of on top of it. Casts range from masked luchadores to slime creatures and blister-pack monsters, each built as its own character before being shot.
Self-initiated concept work. Characters are original; not affiliated with, endorsed by or produced for any wrestling promotion.
